Share your ideas for growing Collie’s economy – Tuesday 22nd March at the Margaretta Wilson Centre
As part of the process of developing an action plan for securing Collie’s long-term prosperity, people are invited to share their ideas for the development of new and existing business and industries.
Two workshops will be held at the Margaretta Wilson Centre on 22nd March – one at 1pm and the other at 7pm – to give people in the community a chance to have their say about Collie’s economic future.
High school students will be able to voice their thoughts during a forum on the same day.
During the community consultation, key questions will be asked including how can Collie diversify, grow and sustain its economy into the next decade and beyond?
All feedback received will be considered in the creation of the economic action plan to be developed by the Collie Industries Futures Taskforce.
The Collie Industries Futures Taskforce was formed late last year through a partnership between the Shire of Collie and South West Development Commission.
